Whatever Indian Prime Minister says about the role of the NAM that is absolutely a positive sign about the revival of the Non Aligned Movement which was started out of the essence of Indian way of contemplation for the future of the world. While starting the movement in the middle of the twentieth century it was hardly anybody's guess that NAM will support world people at such crucial juncture of the world politics.

On the other end Dr Manmohan Singh can well be credited for the success of the first meeting of the IBSA. And we must keep our fingers crossed about the positive outcome of such SOUTH-SOUTH COOPERATION. Though the military interests have not completely lost their importance in the formation as well as continuence of the regional organization....but weather it is the impact of globlization (or going one step further golocalization) or localization of the whole globe...it is economic interests which are paving the way for new geo-political commitments. And this south-south cooperation is one of the brilliant example for this type of cooperation.
