How does a dying court look like?
Is it the court,
Where lawyers are not fearless?
Where judgments have no justice?
Where judges are not independent?
Where litigant is stone-faced?
How does a dying court feel like?
Is it the court,
Where lawyers feel suffocated?
Where judges feel supreme?
Where law does not feel settled?
Where litigants feel tired and lost ?
O Yes!
I have seen a dying court once.
And the death of justice more than once.
Kartikey.

Sir, it is the real picture of indian judicial system.
Very aptly put. Absolutely correct. Judges , or atleast some of them , consider themselves as God. The method and philosophy of law is dead, it is fanciful to act as a neo liberal even if it means diluting the crime as heinous as an attack on the integrity of the Nation. In recent case of KA Najeeb the SC granted bail primarily because PFI was not a banned national at the time of commission of offence even though admitting that the activity of the accused endangers the sovereignty and integrity of the Nation. So now, what happens to ex turpi non causa oritur actio????. Will this not set a precedence for prayer for bail even if the crime shocks the volksgeist which is the fountain head of Constitution?. They deny bail for ordinary crimes and let the man free on ground that Art 21 to the individual is violated?. I fail to make sense in this randomness. When this is the sorry state, more responsibility is caste on advocates that they become the source of light in the darkness of the courtroom. Tagore's verse . "Where mind is without fear and the head is held high..", has never been more relevant and inspirational as it is now.
